Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device by a website. Content Routehub uses very few. This page explains which, why, and how to refuse the optional one. The privacy notice covers personal data more widely.
Types we use
Essential. We store your cookie choice in localStorage under the key content-routehub-cookie-consent so the banner does not return on every page load. That storage is not a third-party cookie. The site works if you reject analytics.
Analytics. Only if you press Accept, we set a first-party cookie so we can see which pages about route reviews are opened. Rejecting does not block forms, charts descriptions, or field notes.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| content-routehub-cookie-consent (localStorage) | Remembers Accept or Reject so the banner stays closed | Until you clear site data | Content Routehub (first party) |
| cr_visit | Counts page opens after Accept, so we know whether yard-days and review pages are read | 13 months | Content Routehub (first party) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. After clearing, the banner returns. Browser controls differ; look for cookies or site data for content-routehub.click.
Third-party cookies
This site does not embed advertising networks. Images may be requested from Unsplash or Pexels; those hosts may set their own cookies according to their policies when your browser loads a photograph. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which may log the request. We do not control those hosts.
If you disable cookies
Rejecting analytics leaves the pages, forms, and mock submission working. If localStorage is blocked entirely, the banner may reappear and we may show a short message that the choice could not be saved. You can still telephone 07757897262 or email hello@content-routehub.click.
